The South African cricket team faced their fifth defeat in the ODI World Cup semi-finals, marking another challenging moment in their quest for the championship.

 

South Africa won the toss and opted to bat. They posted a total of 212 runs in 49.4 overs, with David Miller shining with an impressive score of 101 runs, while Henry Klaasen added 47 runs to the total. Mitchell Starc displayed excellent bowling, securing three wickets for 34 runs for Australia, and Pent Kamis also made a notable contribution by taking three wickets.

 

Australia successfully chased the target, securing victory with 7 wickets down in 47.2 overs.
